I was a student in New Zealand when I first saw Tom Cruise demonstrating how to cook his go-to spaghetti carbonara on an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show. It wasn't until a couple of years after that I gave the recipe a go (couldn't find halal beef bacon in NZ, but now I sometimes sub beef bacon with sausage slices!), but now it has become one of my go-to pasta recipes for lunch at home because it is so darn easy to make.

It won't be the most delicious pasta you'll ever make - I prefer this practically-no-cook pasta by Jamie Oliver, also seen on Oprah! - but it's the perfect recipe for lazy days (and for Monday blues, if you're experiencing it today) and good enough for the tummy, for sure!

Have you guys tried Tom Cruise's spaghetti carbonara recipe before? If you haven't, let me know how it went when you make it!
This looks amazing. Love the photos.
