Bright Green Eyeliner @ Rayyan & Arya's Birthday Party

Fiza and Zaf threw a party for 3-year-old Rayyan and 1-year-old Arya at The Club in Damansara last month. The theme was "pink, green and white", based on the mermaid costume Fiza decided Arya would wear at the party. Actually it should be "merbaby", isn't it?

I wanted to incorporate a little green and some pink into my makeup of the day. I was inspired by a "bright eyeliner" video tutorial done by Jordan Libery on YouTube, which is a really easy look to do.

Makeup how: I applied a light bronzey chocolate eyeshadow on my lids up to my crease, blending it out at the edges, and apply a little of the same shadow very lightly underneath my eyes. Then I dipped a small, stiff angled brush into a bright green eyeshadow and lined my top lid thickly. Both shadows were from my Miss Rose Professional palette.
On my cheeks were The Balm Frat Boy. For the lips I went with Revlon Super Lustrous Creme Lipstick in Rose Velvet, my favourite natural pink lippie.

Since it was daytime, I kept everything light and fresh.

As for my outfit, in keeping with the theme, I had on a plain long-sleeved white t-shirt, a pair of my favourite jeans, a bright pastel green-blue chiffon caftan cardigan and pastel pink shawl.

The Club is a great place to have a party for children since it has a huge pool with colourful slides and a little pool-playground at the side.

What's a birthday party without a birthday cake, right? Lucky for all of us, the babies didn't only get one cake, but two cakes and a whole load of cupcakes as well. My Mak, who's a natural baking whiz, made the cupcakes whereas the cakes were provided by Baie's Creations; they make amazing cakes, cookies (my siblings and I can't stop eating their M&M cookies) and things.

This time around, they made a gorgeous red velvet Hi5 cake, complete with animal candles for Rayyan (Rayray is obsessed with Hi5 and animals) while Arya got a beautiful Ariel the Mermaid cake, which she was impatient to get her hands on.

All-in-all a fun-filled and love-filled beautiful day.
