I've had this pale grey abaya dress for the longest time. It was a favourite of mine but sadly this one can hardly stand the test of time; there are some (thankfully not so noticeable) snags which cannot be saved, no matter how much I pulled and ironed.
So I decided to put this dress on one weekend in Syawal for a day out with the thought that I might not get to wear it again and pair it with my favourite chiffon shawl that has tiny flowers sewn on it.
I think the shawl matches the navy blue sash just beautifully.
I was a little sad but saying goodbye to an old dress means an empty slot for a new one in the closet, no?
