Easy Breezy Pretty

It's unusual to find yourself feeling pretty in a shapeless sack of a dress, isn't it? But then again the best caftan is no ordinary dress.

This caftan dress (caftan? kaftan?) is my go-to choice for weddings as it's super comfy to be worn in this hot and humid weather of Malaysia, plus wearing it makes me feel really happy and, well, kind of pretty.
My only worry is that I've worn this caftan dress so many times (and already blogged about it once here) that I would either get bored of it or too many people would start recognising itand worse, pointing it out to me. But I'm going to soothe myself by saying this: If you style it differently every single time, it is perfectly acceptable to recycle a dress however many times to be worn in the public eye.

I mean, if there's only one lesson we choose to pick up from the Duchess of Cambridge, it should be that. She gets photographed even when doing the most trivial activity possible but does she care to wear a completely different outfit every single time? No, she doesn't, and frankly nor should we. Nor should we.

I think if I say that enough times I'll start believing it myself, too.

That being said, I have two weddings to attend tomorrow but it really is too soon to wear this again...
