Oreo Marshmallow No-Bake Dessert Treat

First thing first, this is what it is all about:

Secondly, I have a confession to make: I have never used my oven.

Look, guys, it isn't that big of a deal. I don't even feel like it's an embarrassing confession to make. It's not like I don't know how to bake or anything (which, even if I don't, would still not be embarrassing); it's just that whatever little baking I've done had taken place in the comfort of my mom's kitchen.

Ever since I moved into our own house three years ago, Shah and I never got around to buying baking things, like a mixer and a weighing scales. We've been travelling a lot (and spending a lot of money while travelling), and since we're also good at procrastinating and chillaxing (this is a word), realistically there are just many undone things in the house, and baking is just another undone department.

Which is why I've turned to no-bake alternatives such as these No-Bake Oreo Bars that are SO easy to do. You need only three main ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry plus a microwave, but if you don't own a microwave, using a pot on a the stove might be another way to do it.

I transferred the mixture onto aluminium foil to cool it off but the oreo-marshies combo clings way too much to the foilI just cut off the aluminium foil in the end out of frustration, but you tend to lose precious portions that way. Maybe parchment paper would be a better option?

I used one 137g-packet of Oreos and a packet of marshmallows weighing 150g but I could only make about 9 medium-sized bars, which loosely means this treat is jam-packed with sugar and is exclusively meant to be shared!

I like 'em best served with either hot milk or hot tea, but your call, of course.

It's Raya season now so I'm thinking this would be the perfect no-fuss treat to serve your guests!
