Neutrogena Happy Skin Night x Mercedes-Benz STYLO AsiaFashion Festival

I was invited by Neutrogena early last month to an event (#sofancy) where they unveiled the Happy Skin 24/7 fashion collection created by two local fashion designers Kittie Yiyi and Hazzer Wan Lee. Shah and I made a fun date out of it because it's not every night we get to be all dressed up!

Note: Because it's always me and only me who's just dressed up. Me. Alone.

That being said, I stayed pretty casual that night, wearing this matching set silk-like "pyjama" from Mango with this super adorable Alice In Wonderland clutch I scored at Shanghai Disneyland. I did dress up my simple garb a bit with one of my rare pairs of heels from Zara, though!
Shah on the other hand definitely stepped up his dressing game, wearing the light blue blazer (coolest powder blue blazer anyone's ever seen, I swear) I talked him into buying when we were in Pull & Bear in Madrid a few years ago. (Excuse the indulgent selfie, guys.)

I use the free blue-purple Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleansing Oil To Foam makeup remover I got in the free swag bag (a miniature version of the one in the photo below) whenever I need to remove full-face makeup now, which is wayyy better than their regular cleansing oil! I've tried a few other "drugstore" cleansing oil but the Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleansing Oil To Foam is so far the only one that can rival Shu Uemura's famed cleansing oil — which kind of breaks the bank, hence my quest of looking for an affordable sub.

Thank you Neutrogena Malaysia for giving us a memorable night!

      1. How lovely to be invited to attend a special event like this!! The subtle, dark, print in your blouse is just beautiful and I like the way you picked up the cobalt blue of the blouse with your shoe color and the taupe in the blouse with your hijab.
I would have liked to see a picture of you and Shah together. The selfie didn't do either of you justice. Love, Jude

        1. Shah and I felt very fancy that night, haha. To be honest I really don't like wearing heels, and I spent a portion of that night wishing I had gone with a flatter option but seeing these photos now makes me think, well, it was worth it!

I know, and it's a horrible selfie, too =( but as usual Shah directed the (iphone) camera lens at me most of the times, plus he's not a fan of "putting himself out there", which is also why he doesn't own any social media accounts! (Except for Facebook, but he uses it exclusively to interact with other gamers!) Thank you for commenting, as always, Judy <3

      2. How is it that you always look so damn cool, Liyana? And how is it that we do not have a full shot of that amazing powder blue blazer?? :)

        1. Yesss thank you for saying I look cool because I don't hear that from people often, hahaha!

Unfortunately Shah reeeaaally doesn't like having his pics up on the web (or on social media, which is why he doesn't own any account aside from his Facebook for his games), regardless of how good I think he looks in them. Ah well.
