Two-Toned Black Jeans, New Winter Jacket & Fresh Timberland Boots

In reference to my previous post on the green puffer jacket + pink Timberland boots — on me wanting another winter jacket and another Timberland boots  I am pleased to announce that I have acquired a brand-new winter jacket AND a new pair of Timberland boots.

Well, except my new winter jacket isn't a puffer jacket like I talked about.....and my new Timberland boots aren't the classic camel brown version I mentioned.....but who's to say they aren't better?

The jacket isn't the most affordable I own but with its surprisingly cosy faux fur lining, the splurge was well worth it (plus it IS cute, I think...?). I can't say Timberland boots are ever cheap but a good tip: just buy 'em at outlets, guys! Brand-new and at almost always half the price, they're total bargains for their quality! (My first pair lasted almost a decade, Timberland boots are the real deal, peeps.)

But here's a story for yah: I actually saw the classic camel-yellow ones I originally wanted at the same outlet (!) but, you know, me wanting to be smart and all, I decided to take some time off to think about buying them while I perused in the other shops, only to come back an hour later or less to discover someone else had gotten to them first. And oh oh, of course they were the very last pair in the shop.

That's it, forget being smart on my next shopping excursion.

Not that it was such a loss anyway, let's be real, as I did get this baby caramel-brown-beige-y pair! (I'm weak, OK? Also, what IS that colour on my boots?)

One of my current favourite jeans are these two-tone blue jeans so I was stoked to find a similar pair in black (also from Mango!). This black pair is more of a mom-jeans cut though so it's like a wholee new jeans game; I'm racking my brain on how to match these jeans so any cute outfit ideas are welcomed!

PS: This shoot took place right in front the Milan Cathedral a.k.a. Milan di Duomo and also inside Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, which are two of the most touristy places in Milan AND the most beautiful ones too!

          1. Your new Timberlands are GREAT!! The color is a lovely, soft, nutty beige and will be very versatile! I think they'll even be a nice color with summer looks!
The new jacket is also a lovely classic navy. I can't tell how warm it is but it looks great on you Liyana. The last photo if you is a favorite. Youclook gorgeous and your smile is so joyful!!
I also checked out the post with the leather sleeved jacket from 2015 and boy do I love the scarf you're wearing there! Also the glasses are cute.
I tried to send a response to your inquiry about the ice sculptures today but it came back. It included some pictures and I think that's the reason it was undeliverable as a response to uour blog post.
For some reason I no longer have your email address.I think you have mine. Love, Jude

            1. I too foresee them as being versatile and suitable for any season! Although it has always been more comfortable to wear Timberland boots in cooler weathers, I have to admit.

I definitely haven't been giving that old horse-print scarf some new love, I can't think why though. And as much as I love my aviator-style glasses, I miss those black-rimmed ones right now. I'm due for a new pair this year, I mighttt just get something similar to those then.

That is so odd that you cannot retrieve my email address! Will be sending you an email shortly, and I look forward to seeing wintery photos from you! >3

          2. Hahaha about your clever shopping strategy. I do that too of course. If it ain't meant to be, it ain't meant to be? PLUS, look at those boots you got. I'm drooling over the color. I don't have this kind of shade in my current rotation and I would so love to get something like these. I'll trawl the outlets like you said! What about Lazada? Love your smile and how you always look super on point in your OOTD captures. WHYYYYYYY are you so adorable! As for the jacket, YES, it is cute. Love the lipstick and your hijab style. And......I think you can wear those jeans with something quirky on top? Would love to see you style the denim again! :D xoxox

            1. Shanaz, you are always too kind and so sweettttttt. My photographer ("photographer" is just a fancy word I use to call my husband sometimes hew hew) thinks I should smile more in photos, maybe I should.

I don't know if you remember that you encouraged me to get the Timberland in the classic shade that I wanted, in an older post's comments section? When I first saw them in the shop, you actually popped into my mind, believe it or not! But yes, they were not meant to be, ah well.

By the way, I would loveee to see your boots collection, so I hope I get to see more of them in your blog!

And yes, a quirky top + the jeans sounds like a great combo. Will try and do that in the future <3
