Would You Buy The Same Dress In A Different Colour?

If you asked me this question a couple of years ago I would probably answer, "Why would you though?"
Why would you, when there are other delicious-looking dresses waiting to get a place in your closet?

Well, I'm not the same woman I was a couple of years ago. To be more precise, I am not Liyana pre-Corona, nope. That Liyana back then was too busy thinking about making every outfit as exciting as possible (while remaining modest, always).
Top and bottom match a little too well? No thank you.
The shoes and the bag are in identical colours? Bo-o-ring.
Is that an outfit we've seen on every other girl in the mall last weekend? Ugh thank you but no thank you next.

Now I'm like who is even that Liyana? I don't know her. Gimme all the comfy maxi dresses. Forget the jeans. That's right — FORGET THE JEANS, yo girl just wants to breathe freely.

I, who was in an exclusive relationship with jeans at one point in my life, have not attempted to zip up any pair of my used-to-be-trusted high-waisted blue jeans on myself for the past year or so.

Why bother, when I can LIVE in maxi dresses?

So ask me the same question again, and my answer now is probably along the line of "Heck yeahhh."

This burnt orange maxi dress is the exact same design as the black maxi dress I wore for Eid this year. I lo-o-o-ve the billowy feel of this dress and ugh guys it is so comfy, so good for my one-hour drive for groceries back and forth from this little town to the big city, I just couldn't resist getting it in another colour!

And, yes, it's been agesss since I've blogged. I haven't been in the right blogging mindset for a while, and to be honest, I don't know if I can go back to being constant at it, but I'd like to try dipping my toes back into it if you don't mind! Thank you so much for reading this, I truly appreciate your support.

I hope you're safe and well and healthy, wherever corner of the world you're reading this from ❤
