Sleeveless Denim Jacket + All Black Printed Pants

Would you prefer to call this 'sleeveless denim jacket' or 'denim vest'?

I bought this sleeveless denim jacket (that's what I decided to call it) with kitschy patches earlier this year without knowing what to wear it with. I spent ages in my stuffy closet room trying to match it with my other tops and pants and dresses but the combinations never felt right—until I got this black shirt from Pull & Bear and these subtly-printed black pants at Trio.

Which made me realise: I love colours and prints a little too much that mixing and matching gets difficult when dressing up. My closet has been calling out for black clothing items all this while, and I finally answered its call.

I'm absolutely loving the details on my black pants! Believe it or not, I forked out only RM 29.90 for them, at a sale in Trio in Dataran Pahlawan Megamall Melaka early last month.

I finally wore my quad-coloured cuff-style bangle, too—something I purchased right before my trip to Melaka.

I would love to pair the sleeveless jacket with maybe a black long-sleeved slim dress that doesn't hug the curves too much, but finding a hijab-appropriate straight dress that I love is a bit tricky.
