Black Jumpsuit + Powder Blue Blazer @ Disney's Pixar in Concert, Dewan Filharmonik Petronas

I just love Disney's movies. Adore them. In fact, if you ask me, "What is your most favourite movie ever?", my answer would be "The Emperor's New Groove".

And I am a hundred percent serious. As serious as this long-sleeved, black jumpsuit.

Shah and I bought tickets to listen to a live performance of Disney/Pixar songs by the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra at KLCC. Both of us happen to be huge fans of Disney music, and since Dewan Filharmonik Petronas has a dress code to adhere to, I might as well have fun dressing up for the event!

Finally, an opportunity to take out my fancy studded, embellished clutch out of its dust bag!

I found this jumpsuit many months ago but have yet to find the right moment to don it, until this night. Honestly, it's the quirkiest jumpsuit ever.

I knew it would get a little cool in the hall so I opted to throw my powder blue blazer on top of the jumpsuit.

Dewan Filharmonik Petronas

The orchestra was wonderful, with scores from movies like Toys StoryA Bug's LifeFinding Nemo, and Wall-E. They played all the Disney songs that sounded as if they were made out of love and warmth and all those nice fuzzy things you would expect from Disney movies.

And of course, they did perform the one Disney song that's guaranteed to turn even the toughest into a fluffy marshmallow: Married Life, from the adorable Up. Really, Shah and Iand about 90% of the audience, I thinkwere literally all teary-eyed after that song.

We got ourselves similar blazers from the same store, so, why not?

I've enjoyed many Disney movies since I was a little girl but Disney has been very dear to my heart in recent years; Shah and I lived in Paris for a year from 2012 to 2013 and, trust me, I realised how incredibly lucky I am to have gotten that opportunity. It's one of those things that I will forever cherished and be grateful for. To not just visit Paris, but to live in the City of Lights, and the City of Love and Romance.

Shah and I, being who we are, were obsessed with Disneyland while living in ParisI can't even count how many times we visited it. Every time we visited the place, come rain or shine, we would stick around for Disney Dreams!, a spectacular night time show especially designed for Disneyland Paris' 20th anniversary. The show was filled with the best of Disney music with the scenes from the movies on mist screen, combined with fireworks, spurting water jets, amazing laser lights and goodness knows how many other special effects.

There would be parents with little children around us but we would be amongst the many, many couples in the throng. Every Disney Dreams! moment for me felt like the most romantic thing ever, standing close to Shah in the cold while dancing and singing along to the music, and those moments were where our real love and fondness for Disney music grew from.
