When I was in Tokyo I kind of dressed up at night just to go out and see the illuminated sakura at different parks at night. I mean, I can't be the only one who thought of these occasions as something special, surely.
It's definitely a challenge to take photos at night (especially in such a huuuge crowd) but we tried to make it happen anyway, because when will I ever get to get photographed surrounded by illuminated sakura again?
There were so, so many people oohing and aahing over the beautiful cherry blossoms, and everyone was taking photos of them and selfies with them, so we fit right into the crowd. No judgement here, guys, just loads of love!
