Food Mood With My Ripped Boyfriend (Jeans, That Is) at Ewha Womans University

Long-sleeved tops like Food Mood one from Zara is just perfect for my hijabi closet. It's thin enough and comfortable (Malaysia is HOT, guys), the quirky statement is so much fun, and it's versatile; you can dress it up with a fancy skirt or match its casualness with your favourite ripped boyfriend jeans!

PS: See more of my favourite ripped boyfriend jeans with plaid and ruffles top.

These shots were taken at Ewha Womans University in Seoul (it really is "Womans" and not "Women" or "Woman's", I double checked!), which looks like the prettiest-looking uni from the front facade, guaranteed to feel cool on a hot sumer day with the shady green canopy trees surrounding the front steps.

I swear I wanted to take a photo of the front steps but I made the mistake of turning to my right too early and my eyes met the coolest sight, front steps all forgotten: a slope going downwards flanked by tall glass structures with high steps at the very end of it. I walked along the slope to see students in library (well, it looks like a library!) and in brightly-lit rooms on my left and right, studying (or surfing the net, who knows) and it almostALMOSTmade me feel like I want to go back to school.

I wished had gotten more photos around the uni but was unable to as Shah and I were fast losing light as were snapping these outfit photoswhich also meant we needed to get ready to break our fast and perform the Maghrib prayers (it was the first week of Ramadhan when we were in Seoul!).
I hope you guys like these photos, regardless. xo

        1. Food mood eh? You have something I don't think we've discussed before... a sense of humor that is happily displayed in your clothing. I love that about you Liyana! This is also clear evidence of having your own sense of style. Humor is a fashion essential in my view and it sometimes takes guts to wear something that is included in the outfit for a sense of your own fun. Great post! Your pal, Jude

        2. A little satire in fashion is always fun, yes? =)

I've always loved a good statement top - nothing tacky, though (like the juvenile ones in Forever 21). But this one seems like something everyone could relate to, plus the top is great to wear in Malaysia's weather!
