My Favourite Kebaya-Inspired Black Jumpsuit

There are two main reasons why I love this black jumpsuit so much:

  1. Its loose and flowy cut, which provides extra modesty for me (ps: Do you know how hard it is to find a non-form-fitting jumpsuit? It is hard.)
  2. The single-pleated kebaya-inspired design at the front — which, to be fair, isn't photographed as clearly as I had intended, so you can see it better by hopping over to the post in which my favourite jumpsuit ever debuted on this blog.

Note: A little background on kebayawhich is one of our traditional wears, with images to assist for my international readers, via the ever-reliable Wikipedia.

I wanted to take one of my rarely used printed scarves out for a spin as well, going with this black-trimmed leopard print one that perfectly matches my all-black ensemble.

This jumpsuit is almost four years but still looks — and feel — like it was purchased just yesterday. There's nothing like the satisfaction of owning a good-quality piece in your closet that you could wear for years and years.

  1. This jumpsuit has a really beautiful and flattering drapey quality and I'm in love with the leopard scarf. Love, Jude
