Beach Baby At Tanjung Balau Beach, Desaru

Amazingly, I have relented on going to the beach almost every weekend now, considering how I've declared to not be a beach person in the past.
I suppose I can call myself a "beach baby" now — sand and hijab-tan-line and all, give 'em to me!

With beaches like this so nearby to my house, how can I not? The clean sands, clear water, blue skies... It's certainly a refreshing change from seeing tall buildings all around, growing up and living in an urban city.

Shah and I feel really lucky to be living so near a location as beautiful as Tanjung Balau Beach. There are always fewer people here than at Desaru Beach but once the Tanjung Balau's main entrance opens again, I can foresee it being packed so we're just going to try to enjoy it as-is for as long as we can.

These photos were taken on a day when the tide was particularly low so we had the luxury of sitting on our beach chairs right in front of a perfectly curved tide pool, which was absolutely breathtaking. I wish the beauty I saw with my own eyes could be translated better into the photos here (it really does not) but these will have to do!

Hope you like the photos, thank you for reading this post! Talk again soon ❤
