So, I'm In Japan Now.....

How did that happen? I'm wondering the same thing myself, to be honestit was all a hasty blur.

I was just chilling and relaxing as usual on late Friday afternoon (a homemaker's privilege) when Shah called me to announce, "We're going to Japan next week. OK?".

And now here I am, in my teeny tiny Japanese apartment, blogging.

Is this photo "Japanese" enough?

Actually, I've known about the possibility of going to Japan for a few weeks, for Shah's work, but I also knew the chances of going to the Land of the Rising Sun was pretty slim. But yet here I am and I couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity to visit another country.

My crazy weekend was filled with sending our winter jackets to the laundry, buying things and trips to different immigration offices to try to renew my passport. On Sunday morning, after a 5-hour process at UTC in Pudu Sentral, I walked away with my brand new passport and a ticket to Japan.

The weird thing is, the flight here was probably the most enthralling one I've had, and I've flown many times before. I was oohing and aahing over the gorgeous clouds and I even got to witness the sun rising from way up there. How incredibly fitting, Japan bound and watching the sun rising. It was really one of the most beautiful and magical things I've ever seen, ever.
I wish I were able to take better photos of the clouds and the sun but the lighting and my iPhone camera wouldn't permit it, so these are the best I had.

I'm hoping I'll be able to update interesting things about my Japan trip on this blog, so do visit Affordorable again soon! Lovelove.
