Guardian Pore Strips: Tea Tree Oil and Charcoal

I have tried pore strips from bigger international brands but Guardian Pore Strips have to be the absolute best one out there!

Visiting Pasar Seni, Kuala Lumpur

I never noticed how beautiful Pasar Seni is until last weekend.

I think it's the norm, isn't it? Locals just tend to pay less attention to local tourists' attraction. Like how most Parisians have never been to the top of Eiffel Tower, and just like how so many KL / Selangor people have never visited Menara Kuala Lumpur (guilty!).

Pasar Seni, also known as Central Market, is located at Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, near the Pasar Seni LRT station.

Picking Out Your Rimmel Match Perfection Shade Online

I got some help in deciding which shade to buy from Rimmel's official website; you can check it out at Rimmel London UK and click on 'Try It On", where you can upload your own photo and click on the different shades to find out which one suits you the most.

I uploaded four different photos of myself and the best shade that matched each photo was 402 Bronze.

It's not a 100% accurate but I do find this matching service extremely helpful as it narrows down which shades to look at in store.

The images below were the results given by the online matching service using a photo of myself (be warned, these images are graphicI can't believe I'm putting these up online even!):

New Camera

I have finally, FINALLY made an upgrade in the camera department.
I have been relying on either Canon Digital Ixus 110 IS or iPhone 4 for photography purposes in this blog ever since I started it. As much as they've been good to me, I have always hoped to produce better photographs.
Now that I…

Private Room in Hair Salon @ Centro Privé, KLCC

* this particular salon has sadly been closed for some time now, sorry for the inconvenience!

I recently started looking for a hair salon that offers a private room or a private area that could cater to a woman in hijab with certain preferenceslike yours truly.

I used to regularly go to a salon in the Subang area which does offer a tiny, tiny private space, with a chair and a curtain around it. Only their concept of private is questionable since a customer still needs to leave that "private" spot to wash off shampoo from her hair. But of course, if all the staffs were females, this would be less of a problem.

I found a couple of promising salons, but Shah (you know, the man who was going to pay the bill, so his opinion matters loads) was most drawn to one he discovered in KLCC: Centro Privé.

There are two Centro salons in KLCC, Centro Hair Salon and Centro Privé, both of which are on the top floor. Privé is French for "private", so if you're after some serious privacy while attending to your hair needs, Centro Privé could be a the place you're searching for.
